A multi-platform new media presentation for Cunard

The Greatest Social Media Adventure in the World was created as a presentation to Cunard. I thought that if we were going to pitch a huge new media initiative, it made sense to do so entirely on a new media platform. This presentation evolved out of my personal passion for the company combined with my passions for new media, social media and travel. It was not solicited by the company.

The pitch, which included an interactive video, a 38 page powerpoint presentation courtesy of slideshare, and extensive research about social media and luxury brands was built entirely with open source technology and is, I believe, the first independent pitch to so thoroughly embrace multiple new media platforms.

The goal of the pitch is to bring the excitement and elegance of a Cunard World Cruise to living breathing life on the social graph, to encourage world-wide conversation, to help build strong desire and brand loyalty, and to empower Cunard passengers to utilize the social web to tell their own stories of their excitement about the Cunard brand.

Every video, picture and presentation on the site was created in its entirety by us, Kathryn and Guiesseppe Jones. Every video, picture and presentation on the site was created with consumer level and consumer accessible equipment and programs.
