My name  is Kathryn Jones, and this is my blog.

I am an actor, a producer, an online video innovator and a new media expert.

I am passionate about a lot of things…  the empowerment that the world of new media hands to anyone willing to  dive in head first… travel, food, politics, acting, food, my husband,  food, social media….

My love for live theater and new media have inspired me to create a number of online video projects.  The two I am most proud of are 35, the first web drama to stream live over the internet, and Women Respond to Palin , the first of its kind live webathon.

An amalgam of theater, film and  internet tv, producing 35 (10 episodes, three cameras, a cast and crew of 20 and oh, so little money) is my proudest professional achievement. I love the live streaming paradigm and I can’t wait to do more.

Women Respond to Palin,  was an 8 hour live political webathon that I produced with the wonderful Charlie Oliver.  Again, for oh so little money, the voices of hundreds of women were heard across the internet. Women Respond to Palin had 17,000 unique views in an 8 hour period.
